Our Seneca Lake custom wood map art is made from a solid one-inch-thick piece of ash. It features a recessed lake filled with blue resin. Highlighted are a number of cities, parks and inlets along the lake. We carve each location, fill with resin epoxy, and sand smooth for a polished look. This ensures the longevity of the design with text that won’t fade, chip, or peel over time. We stain the entire piece to give a naturally aged feel. It is completed with a durable clearcoat seal to protect your map art for a lifetime. The piece is 24″ tall by 9″ wide and comes with heavy-duty mounting hardware attached to hang on a wall.

Seneca Lake, named after the Seneca nation of Native Americans, is the largest of the Finger Lakes of the state of New York. It is the National Lake Trout Derby host. At the north end of Seneca Lake is the city of Geneva, New York, home of Hobart and William Smith Colleges. At the south end of the lake is the village of Watkins Glen, New York, famed for auto racing (hosting Watkins Glen International racetrack) and waterfalls.

PROCESSING TIME

When in stock, pieces ship via UPS Ground within one business day. If out of stock, production time is estimated at 12-14 business days. When placing a custom order, please allow 3 business days for the design proof and 12-14 business days for production. Please contact us for scheduling if needed by a certain date.

FREE LOCAL PICKUP

Orders can also be picked up locally from Farm House Fabulous in Webster, NY or Pino’s Deli in Greece.
