Welcome to GRITWORX Designs woodwork! My name is Heather and the guy over my shoulder would be my husband, Mike. We officially started this business in 2019 and have been enjoying this wild ride through ups and downs, laughs and tears and an insane amount of eye rolls. We work our tails off to make something our clients will enjoy for years to come. We get to work with some gorgeous materials that can honestly be a handful at times to manipulate, but its sooo worth it in the end!! Going to the lumber yard to hand pick each and every piece takes a bit of time, but watching it go from its raw state to customer ready is the best feeling.
Underneath the sarcastic exterior lies the strife of two perfectionists living under the same roof. We realize there is nothing perfect in this world, but we will do our best to come close. If we’re sad to see a piece go to its new home, then we know we did a great job. We know there are many other amazing woodworkers and as a consumer you always have a choice. How We Got Started
Combining our carpentry and graphic design skills, we started our woodworking venture on Etsy in October 2019 under the name H&M Craft Creations. When the world took an unexpected turn in 2020 with the COVID pandemic, the business took an even more unexpected turn and boomed into a fulltime operation. Some of our common works included high quality handcrafted gifts like solo cup dispensers and wall art, both with a wide range of personalization options. We had our first opportunity selling locally with an installation at the Carriage Place in Spencerport, NY.

Now we are known as GRITWORX Designs LLC. Woodwork and quality remains at the core of our business model, while we strive to provide an even higher level of sophistication and artisanship to each piece we create. Continuing in the industry of home decor, we now offer a new range of products for entertaining including centerpieces and table risers, charcuterie boards, as well as furniture and wall decor. We have added laser and CNC engraving to our list of services and can help you design the perfect personalization for your piece.
